USSTRATCOM Hosts PRP Symposium

United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) recently hosted a Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) Symposium for health professionals across the Department of Defense (DoD) and government, highlighting the ever-changing medical environment and the importance of keeping up with advancements in technology and medical care.

PRP is a DoD program personnel assigned to critical positions across the department to ensure are able to perform their duties with the highest level of reliability. The symposium brought together health professionals across the DoD and Department of Health and Human Services to discuss the latest developments in the medical field.

Attendees engaged with experts and colleagues on the importance of collaboration and information sharing in order to stay at the forefront of medical advancements and to ensure the continued success of the Personnel Reliability Program.

USSTRATCOM recognizes the vital role that healthcare professionals play in maintaining the readiness and reliability of our nuclear force. The symposium provided a valuable opportunity to bring these experts together to discuss best practices, share lessons learned, and collaborate on ways to improve the program.

United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) is one of the eleven unified commands in the Department of Defense. The mission of USSTRATCOM is to deter strategic attack through a safe, secure, effective, and credible, global combat capability and, when directed, is ready to prevail in conflict. The command enables Joint Force operations and is the combatant command responsible for Strategic Deterrence, Nuclear Operations, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Operations, Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, Global Strike and Missile Threat Assessment.
