Maintain Your Fleet with Ease

We believe that managing your storage fleet should be as easy as checking your email. To make that happen, we're releasing two Pure1 updates to keep you in the loop on what's happening in your storage environment.

  • Enhanced visibility of key events. Updates to appliance and subscription genealogy on the Pure1 Assets page make staying on top of your subscriptions and systems easy. Make the most of your subscription with appliance genealogy (login required) by accessing upgrades, EOL, and service dispatch event dates to strategically manage your fleet. Updates to subscription genealogy (login required) let you know which subscriptions include ransomware support, improving overall security posture.
  • Improved operational efficiency. Track all orders (login required), including orders not initiated in Pure1, and easily access orders placed up to two years ago with the ability to easily navigate between self-service and assisted orders.

Simplify Deployment with Self-service Upgrades

Simplicity is an integral part of the Pure Storage story. By upgrading to Purity//FA 6.6.8, you can save time, effort, and resources while increasing overall security posture.

  • Dynamic file resource allocation: Experience automatic management of array resources in response to real-time workload patterns, saving you money while increasing operational flexibility on a single storage platform covering block-only, file-only, and unified block and file deployments.
  • Reverse replication performance improvement: Save time leveraging ActiveDR™ with files when performing reverse replication from target to source, available when you upgrade to Purity//FA 6.6.8.

Enhance Security and Performance for Your Toughest Workloads

Purity//FB 4.4.2 continues to deliver the performance, optimization, and security you need to keep your storage operations at their peak.

  • 200G uplink support on XFM8400: Upgrade to Purity//FB 4.4.2 to experience improved performance in multi-chassis configuration, delivering your teams the operational flexibility to meet all your needs and more.
  • Object enhancements: Purity//FB 4.4.2 is simplifying how you deploy object features on FlashBlade®. We're making it easier to deploy active-active object replication, track individual object replication status by S3 applications, and manage object expiry and bucket deletion for space recovery.
  • SEC-17a Cohasset Certification for object storage: We're proud to announce that FlashBlade Object Store has been assessed by Cohasset Associates to meet SEC 17a-4, CFTC, and FINRA regulations. Use FlashBlade's S3 Object Lock and Compliance mode with no eradication to lock down your environment and meet your compliance requirements including SEC 17-4(f)/18-6(e), FINRA, CFTC, and FDIC regulations.
  • Common Criteria certification: Purity//FB 4.4.0 is now publicly listed as "in progress" from Common Criteria EAL2 certification. Common Criteria provides a globally recognized framework for evaluating the security properties of IT products and systems.
