Redwood National and State Parks Davison Road Closure – Gold Bluffs Beach

Davison Road will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic starting Monday 09/23/24 at 8:00am through Saturday 09/28/24 at 8:00am for road repair work. The road closure impacts access to Gold Bluffs Beach Campground and Fern Canyon Day Use Area. Gold Bluffs Beach Campground will reopen on Monday 09/30/24 for new reservations. Fern Canyon is accessible from the Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park Visitor Center trailhead via a moderate 9-mile roundtrip hike on the James Irvine Trail.
