Maryville Mourns the Loss of Professor Clifford Wilke

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our respected colleague and faculty member, Professor Cliff Wilke. Cliff was a dedicated educator, an inspiring mentor, and a valued member of our Maryville family.

Cliff served as the Program Director for Graduate Cybersecurity and was a strong advocate for academic rigor while simultaneously being a passionate teacher who cared deeply about his students. He was a proud philanthropist and supporter of diversity in tech, most recently demonstrated with our Cybersecurity Summer Institute in July. Maryville and our students benefited greatly from Cliff sharing his experience as CIO and CTO at organizations such as United Health Group, the US Department of Homeland Security/TSA, and Mobile Oil Credit Corporation. As Program Director, he was instrumental in achieving our NSA Center of Academic Excellence designation. His contributions to our university and the countless lives he touched will be remembered with great admiration and respect.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Cliff's family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Arrangements will be announced when they become available.

The faculty, staff, and students in the Simon School of Business will miss their colleague, friend, and mentor, Dr. Cliff Wilke.
