Eisenhower Airport Reports September Aviation Statistics

After eight months of steady traffic growth, September saw a pause at Eisenhower National Airport, recording 146,366 passengers-a slight 0.16% decrease compared to last year's figures for the month. Hurricanes in the southeastern U.S. likely dampened demand.

So far this year, 1,349,818 passengers have passed through ICT, marking a 6.49% increase over 2023 and a 3.3% rise from 2019, which was a record-setting year.

Air Service at ICT has a significant impact on the Kansas economy. When demand is strong, airlines respond by adding flights and expanding destination options, which strengthens the region's business appeal and talent recruitment.
