Professor De Giuseppe is the new Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Fashion and Tourism

Massimo De Giuseppe, a full professor of Contemporary History in our University, is the new Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Fashion and Tourism as of November 1. Proxy of the Rector to Inclusion, Disability and Psychological Counseling, director of the Euresis research center and the Center for Cultures and Sustainability, De Giuseppe directs the 'Americhe' series of the Il Mulino publisher.

An expert and scholar on the relations between institutions, society and religion between Latin America and Europe and the relations between the world's 'north and south', his latest book is Il fantasma di Toro seduto. Il mito dei nativi americani nell'Italia degli anni Settanta, is due out in July this yearfrom Il Mulino.

The IULM community wishes Prof. De Giuseppe well in his new assignment and thanks the outgoing president, Prof. Vincenzo Trione, for his work so far.
