PM of Congo Republic visits local road project

Anatole Collinet Makosso, Prime Minister of the Republic of the Congo (Congo Republic), recently visited the Benge Road Project, undertaken by POWERCHINA.

Makosso was briefed on the current overall construction status and subsequently conducted an on-site inspection to assess the project's progress, expressing his contentment with the progress of the project.

He emphasized the importance of POWERCHINA sustaining its current momentum, completing the remaining auxiliary facilities according to the schedule, and ensuring the project's delivery with high-quality standards to bolster local development.

The main construction involves building a 25-kilometer two-lane asphalt road. This is the first milestone among the 341 significant projects in the country's "2022-2026 National Development Plan". Once completed, it will connect the country's Kouilou Province to Gabon, promoting integrated rural electrification and improving local transportation conditions.
