As the Atlantic hurricane season continues, Santee Cooper remains committed to delivering the reliable energy our customers count on through the year. From June 1 through Nov. 30, the unpredictable nature of severe weather demands our attention and proactive measures.
Our dedicated team is hard at work, engaging in essential preparation efforts that include trimming trees near power lines, inspecting substations and closely monitoring equipment to ensure we are ready for whatever the storm may bring.
The safety and well-being of our customers and the community are our top priorities, which is why we emphasize the importance of knowing how to prepare before, during and after storm events.

Customers have the opportunity to stay informed about outages through the system via our Online Storm Center. You also can report outages by calling 888-769-7688. Please be prepared with the account name and location, telephone number and nature of problem.
