Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Immunization Awareness Event for Seniors in Duncanville

DUNCANVILLE, Tex., August 20, 2024 - Molina Healthcare of Texas' Grandparents Social Club, together with Albertsons/Tom Thumb Pharmacy, recently hosted an adult immunization awareness event for seniors at the D.L. Hopkins Jr. Senior Activity Center in Duncanville.

This free event, held in honor of National Immunization Awareness Month, provided information on the importance of immunizations and those that are recommended for older adults, as well as those with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, COPD, asthma, and heart disease. Attendees participated in interactive discussions on topics including the flu, COVID-19, shingles, RSV and pneumococcal vaccinations.

Refreshments and giveaway items were also provided.
