A Nashville man on electronic monitoring for a March fentanyl, cocaine and gun arrest is again in custody for the October 14 wounding of 19-year-old man on S. 13th Street. In fact, Keandre Johnson's ankle monitor ultimately helped detectives place him at the scene of the shooting, in which the victim was shot in the side.
Specialized Investigations Division TITANS detectives arrested Johnson, 27, Monday in Cheatham Place Apartments on 9th Avenue North.
Johnson was arrested March 21 on S. 7th Street carrying a fully automatic pistol, fentanyl and cocaine. His $83,000 bond was reduced by a judge and Johnson was released from jail on an ankle monitor.
Johnson's new charges are felony aggravated assault, felony reckless endangerment, gun possession during the commission of a dangerous felony, unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon, and felony evading arrest. He remains jailed tonight in lieu of $191,000 bond.
