On 29 November 2024, H.E. Ms Valérie Bruell-Melchior, Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco, presented her letters of credence to H.E. Mgr Joan-Enric Vives I Sicilia, Archbishop, Bishop of Urgell and Episcopal Co-Prince of Andorra.

The ceremony was held in the Throne Room of the Episcopal Palace, Seat of the Co-Prince, in La Seu d'Urgell, with H.E. Ms Imma Tor Faus, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Andorra and H.E. Mr Josep Maria Mauri Prior, Personal Representative of the Co-Prince, in attendance.

Following this presentation, a meeting was held between H.E. Mgr Joan-Enric Vives I Sicilia and H.E. Ms Valérie Bruell-Melchior, during which the Episcopal Co-Prince extended his warmest regards to T.S.H. Prince Albert II, Princess Charlène, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

This meeting served as a reminder of the close ties that unite the two Principalities in terms of both friendship and shared values. These two countries work closely together, reflecting the spirit of the Memorandum of General Cooperation, signed in 2022.
