Strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Serbia

On November 26, 2024, within the framework of the 10th Forum of the Alliance of Civilizations in Lisbon (Portugal), the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Nikola Stojanovic.

The issues of bringing bilateral relations to a new stage, developing economic diplomacy and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed.

The parties emphasized the importance of expanding the legal framework and establishing cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

Particular attention was paid to migration issues. It was noted that it is necessary to stimulate legal migration and strengthen measures to protect the rights and interests of citizens.
