Apply Now for the 2024 Denton 360° Program

DENTON, TX, Aug. 26, 2024 - The City is now accepting applications for the 2024 Denton 360° cohort, which will include 14 residents selected to participate in this comprehensive program. Denton 360° is an immersive program for residents 18 and older to explore the inner workings of the City through hands-on activities, site visits, and direct engagement with decision-makers. Participants will gain valuable insights and practical knowledge about various aspects of local governance, from city planning and emergency response to public utilities and transportation.

Applications are due by August 31, 2024, with selected participants notified by September 6, 2024.

2024 Program Schedule Highlights:

• September 26 (6-8 PM): Introduction to the City of Denton
• October 5 (9 AM-1 PM): Powering Denton (Tour of Denton Energy Center)
• October 10 (6-8 PM): Planning for Growth
• October 19 (9 AM-1 PM): Responding to the Alarm (Police/Fire)
• October 24 (6-8 PM): Nurturing the Community
• November 2 (9 AM-1 PM): Everything Water (Tour of Treatment Plant)
• November 7 (6-8 PM): Getting Around Denton
• November 16 (9 AM-1 PM): Taking Out the Trash (Tour of Landfill)
• December 3 (5-7 PM): Graduation & City Council Recognition
