Appeal to locate girl missing from Sydney's west

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's west.

Ananya Bharatwal, aged 16, was last seen at an address in Toongabbie on Thursday 10 October 2024 and has not returned since.

Officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command commenced inquiries into her whereabouts when they were notified about 9pm yesterday (Saturday 12 October 2024).

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Ananya is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, about 157cm tall with slim build, and has black hair with purple stripes.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
