A-1 Officers Arrest Suspect After a Stabbing Incident

At about 4:00 PM, on Saturday, July 27, 2024, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) arrested Kymani Walker, 19, of Mattapan, following a stabbing incident.

Officers responded to the area of 215 Charles Street for a report of a person stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from multiple stab wounds. Boston EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers were provided information on scene that a possible suspect fled the area following Charles Street towards the rear of the Liberty Hotel. Officers broadcasted a description of the suspect, and were alerted by Massachusetts State Police that Troopers located the suspect in the rear of Teddy Ebersol's Red Sox fields.

Walker was placed under arrest and charged with Armed Assault to Murder, and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. He is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
