DEC Region 5 Hosting Fish and Wildlife Forum on Sept. 10

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Region 5 is hosting a fall Fish and Wildlife Forum on Sept. 10. This meeting is free and open to all members of the public interested in learning more about regional conservation organizations and discussing shared concerns and ideas about fish and wildlife conservation in New York State.

The forum will include brief presentations from a panel of representatives from regional conservation organizations, including Trout Unlimited, Native Fish Coalition, Ruffed Grouse Society, Foothill Trappers Association, and Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. After a question-and-answer session, attendees will be invited to participate in a facilitated group discussions about making connections between the diverse interests and goals of regional conservation organizations and members of the public to explore shared opportunities, challenges, goals, and potential collaborations.

When: Tuesday, Sept. 10, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
