Public Art Opportunity

The Beautifying Trash Bins Public Art Project invites artists or artistic teams to transform four (4) new "bear box" style trash receptacles into painted works of art. This project aims to deter vandalism, enhance the visitor experience at the beach, pier, and promenade, promote cleanliness, celebrate Ventura's natural beauty and historical coastal landmarks, and foster a sense of community and environmental stewardship.

This project is a collaboration between the City's Environmental Sustainability Division and Arts & Culture section.
