Issues on continuous development of Armenian-Georgian relations discussed

On September 25, the meeting of the RA parliamentarians was held with the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, the Head of the Georgia-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group George Volsky. During the meeting the sides highlighted the continuous development of the Armenian-Georgian relations, discussed the issues regarding of inter-parliamentary cooperation, regional security, telecommunication, political, economic and cultural spheres.

The joint second sitting of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport of the RA National Assembly and the Culture Committee of the Parliament of Georgia chaired by Sisak Gabrielyan and Eliso Bolkvadze.

A number of issues including the sphere of the Armenian-Georgian culture were discussed. The role of cultural diplomacy was especially emphasized in the context of the development of the Armenian-Georgian relations. During the meeting the agenda items of the next sitting were discussed.
