Come out to the Berkeley waterfront to watch a documentary about brown bears and join a group discussion about their role in California's ecology and history.

The discussion will cover the history of bears in the Bay Area, their key role in the environment, the habitats where you'll find them today, and their evolution into symbols - such as on the state flag.

We'll follow that up with a group viewing of the Disneynature documentary, Bears. We'll watch together using a large, portable 20-foot by 12-foot inflatable screen with premium audio-visual equipment designed for outdoor cinema.

Disneynature: Bears
Saturday, September 28, 7:00 pm - 8:45 pm
