Jalen Hurts and Lincoln Financial host send-off at Lincoln Financial Field for KB Foundation’s Boys Mentoring Camp

On Thursday, August 1, Jalen Hurts and senior leaders from Lincoln Financial Group came together at Lincoln Financial Field to mark the beginning of their new community engagement partnershipby hosting a special camp send-off for 60 Philadelphia-area boys. The boys, ages 11-13, are headed off to a mentorship camp with the KB Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to building the developmental and social competencies of Philadelphia youth.

As a nod to their shared commitment to financial wellness, Jalen Hurts and Lincoln Financial engaged with the kids in an educational financial literacy game focused on teaching essential budgeting skills. The boys were then gifted credit to the Eagles Pro Shop, where they could exercise their budgeting skills in real-time.

Together, Jalen Hurts Foundation and the Lincoln Financial Foundation then unveiled their donation gift to the KB Foundation: a new bus which will transport the boys - and all future campers - to the KB Foundation mentorship camp.

Lincoln Financial's Chairman, President and CEO Ellen Cooper addressed the crowd, saying:
"At Lincoln, helping people with their finances is our priority - in both our business and through our charitable organization, the Lincoln Financial Foundation. We're thrilled that our partnership with the Jalen Hurts Foundation will allow us to expand our impact. Together with Jalen, and other amazing organizations like the KB Foundation, we aim to foster financial literacy from a young age, laying the foundation for financial wellness from childhood to adulthood."

Cooper was joined by other Lincoln senior leaders including Allison Green Johnson, SVP, Chief Diversity Officer and President of the Lincoln Financial Foundation; Jalen Hurts and other members of the Jalen Hurts Foundation; and representatives from the KB Foundation.
