SFPD Investigates Tenderloin Homicide 24-127

On October 30, 2024, at approximately 6:11 p.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to the area of Ellis and Jones Streets on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid and paramedics responded to the scene to render aid and transport the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Despite the lifesaving efforts of the emergency responders and medical staff, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased in the hospital.

The SFPD Homicide Detail responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
