Radiating hope across our communities

At AMETEK, social responsibility extends beyond just giving back-it includes building meaningful partnerships and making a positive difference in the communities we call home. Our IntelliPower and AMETEK Programmable Power businesses exemplify this by taking active roles in creating connections with non-profits that serve their local community, including with Radiant Futures, a non-profit that empowers individuals to create brighter pathways for themselves and their families.

Radiant Futures is building a safer community in Orange County, California. Originally created to meet the extraordinary need for shelter services for survivors of domestic violence, Radiant Futures quickly expanded to providing a comprehensive residential program, a children's program, a crisis hotline, and a community services program.

Partnering with companies like AMETEK helps Radiant Futures reach more survivors and provide the high-quality services they need. With the help of AMETEK's ongoing support, this year alone, Radiant Futures has been able to answer nearly 3,000 helpline calls and texts, provide over 20,000 bed-nights for those in need, and offer tailored services like legal advocacy and housing assistance.

While AMETEK has supported Radiant Futures for several years through fundraisers and matching donations from the AMETEK Foundation, it was a recent site visit with IntelliPower and AMETEK Programmable Power's leadership and HR teams that deepened the meaning of their support. They had the opportunity to hear real stories of resilience about local women who were able to rebuild their lives with the help of Radiant Futures.

Learning about this mission in action underscored the importance of our team's work and reinforced their dedication to supporting the work of Radiant Futures. It paved the way for continued collaboration through back-to-school drives, food collections, holiday toy drives, and more.
