Foreign Minister Mondino received the Ambassador of Vietnam

Foreign Minister Diana Mondino received today the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Minh Nguyet NGO, who presented her Credentials on May 10.

The Foreign Minister and the Vietnamese ambassador to our country addressed issues of common interest such as the exchange of high-level visits, economic-commercial and political matters, and reviewed the successful experience of Argentine-Vietnamese technical cooperation. In addition, they emphasized the importance of increasing and diversifying bilateral trade and investments.

Ambassador Ngo referred to her priorities as diplomatic representative of her country, among which she highlighted the promotion of economic cooperation, the increase in bilateral trade and the maintenance of the periodic exchange of high-level visits.

Vietnam is a strategic partner of Argentina and a country of great relevance for our foreign trade, with exports amounting to almost US$ 2.1 billion and imports of almost US$ 1.4 billion, reason by which the Foreign Minister visited Hanoi in March of this year in her first trip to Asia.
