Maine Democratic Party Statement on Susan Collins Supporting JD Vance

"Despite claiming to be pro-choice, Susan Collins has nothing but kind words to say about Donald Trump's running mate and anti-abortion extremist JD Vance.

"In addition to supporting a national abortion ban, arguing against exceptions for rape and incest, and voting against protections for IVF, Vance has made a whole host of weird and disparaging comments about childless women, particularly those who own pets and hold political power whom he calls "deranged," "psychotic," "sociopaths," and "radical childless leaders." How are Maine women supposed to believe that Susan Collins will stand up for our right to choose when she won't stand up to condemn these deranged attacks from a leader of her own Party?
