Oregon Democratic candidate Janelle Bynum covered up sexual assault allegations against a minor and threatened her campaign staff who pushed her to take action, according to a new report over the weekend.
Hakeem Jeffries stumped for Bynum last week, calling her the"quintessential example of what a member of the House of Representatives and a public servant should be."
Not to mention… Jeffries refused to call on criminally indicted Democrats Henry Cuellar and Eric Adams to resign.
NRCC National Press Secretary Will Reinert said: "Hakeem Jeffries can preach about 'people over politics,' but his high-minded rhetoric rings hollow. Jeffries' actions tell a different story - cozying up to candidates in the ethical gutter in his desperate quest to become Speaker."
