Windows 11 23H2 Automatic Updates

Windows 10 & 11 version 22H2 will be automatically installed on all eligible Health Science Center PCs to provide the latest features and to comply with ITS security policy.

This update will be enforced in waves across campus starting after business hours on August 2, 2024, and continuing over the next four weeks.

Please leave your Windows computer powered on and connected to the internet when not in use to allow the update to be installed.

This update is currently available as an optional update in Software Center. If you would like to initiate the upgrade process before it is enforced, please refer to the Windows 11 23H2 Upgrade Instructions article.

If a PC in your area should be exempt from the 23H2 update, you may request an exemption. To initiate an OS update exemption request, please contact the ITS Service Desk at uthsc.edu/techconenct or 901.448.2222.
