Belvès Airshow

The Belvès Airshow, which takes place on August 15, will give those on vacation in the beautiful Périgord region of France the chance to admire a varied and high-caliber flying display.

If you are staying in the Périgord region in mid-August, make sure you don't miss the Belvès Airshow (halfway between Bergerac and Sarlat) on August 15, 2024, for a day that should delight young and old alike. Gates open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with refreshments available on site (all-day barbecue, refreshment bar, etc.).

On the ground, visitors will be able to enjoy a wide range of activities (including simulators with real cockpits), as well as examples of model aircraft, plus exhibitions, workshops, and more. Please note that "you can see the pilots and their aircraft on the ground between 12 noon and 2 p.m.", according to the organizers.

At higher altitudes, visitors can also watch flight demonstrations of both vintage and new aircraft. Among them will be the Max-Holste Broussard MH.1521, the Stampe SV-4, the Zlin Z-526, the Sukhoi 26, the Nord 1100 Noralpha, the Nanchang CJ-6 and, as the highlight of the show, the Rafale Solo Display, the star ambassador of the French Air and Space Force.
