The Birches on Maple offers housing options to support the unique needs of each resident. The nearly 140,000-square-foot centerpiece - River Birch Place - features 136 units across multiple levels of care, including almost 30 memory care apartments, more than 50 assisted living apartments and 55 independent living apartments.
For those desiring more independence, the community features: 18 independent living duplex-style cottages - The Cottages at The Birches - and The Preserve at The Birches, a residential area that will be comprised of 83 single-family homes at completion.
Built to foster physical, social and emotional well-being, The Birches on Maple provides a wide range of amenities to support an active lifestyle. Residents can enjoy indoor and outdoor pools, walking paths, a courtyard, a community garden and fully equipped fitness areas for cardio fitness and group exercise.
Located just outside the community entrance, The Shoppes at The Birches is a developing retail area that will bring a range of convenient options to residents of The Birches and others, including restaurants, a nail salon, fitness center and more.
Tanner's wellness initiative, Get Healthy, Live Well, brings health-focused classes and fitness programs to the community, emphasizing the importance of physical activity and preventive care. Additionally, The Birches on Maple community members and other west Georgia residents have access to an on-site medical clinic, Tanner Primary Care at The Birches.
