Overnight lane closure on US 169 SB near Smithville for pavement repair, Sept. 20 21

CLAY COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing the right lane on U.S. Highway 169 just north of 136th St. near Smithville on Fri., Sept. 20 from approximately 7 p.m. until 4 a.m. on Sat., Sept. 21. for pavement repair work. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
