The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Lyons reports the arrest of three Wayne County residents for multiple charges following a reported armed robbery in the town of Lyons.

On August 28, 2024, at approximately 6:10 p.m., troopers responded to the area of McDonald's on Forgham Street after a victim, who was not injured, reported he was robbed of personal property at gunpoint by three people in a black sedan.

Troopers quickly located the suspect vehicle, a black 2008 Cadillac and attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Elmer Street. The Cadillac pulled over and then drove away after a passenger fled on foot. The passenger who fled was later identified as 26-year-old Lorenzo R. Carithers of Lyons, NY. Carithers was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm 3D printed pistol, as well as a quantity of cocaine, and was arrested after attempting to flee through the yard of a local residence.

The Cadillac was later located and stopped a second time with the assistance of Wayne County Sheriff's Office deputies on Forgham Street. The driver, identified as Tramija M. Streeter, age 28, of Newark, NY, was arrested without incident. Upon further investigation, an additional suspect, Patience L. Larock, age 23, with no permanent address, was also arrested in connection with the incident.

All three subjects were charged with Robbery 1st (B felony). In addition, Carithers was also charged with Criminal Possession of A Controlled Substance 3rd (B felony), Criminal Possession of A Weapon 2nd (C Felony), and Criminal Possession of A Weapon 4th (A Misdemeanor). All three suspects were transported to the Wayne County Jail for CAP arraignment.
