AGA Mourns Passing of Tom Donohue

WASHINGTON - American Gas Association President and CEO Karen Harbert issued the following statement in response to the tragic loss of Tom Donohue, former President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce.

"I am deeply saddened by the loss of my friend and long-time mentor, Tom Donohue. Tom was a courageous and strong leader, focusing his career on driving economic development and community growth across the country. He lifted those around him up, helping them learn and grow in their own careers-guidance and empowerment has been felt by the innumerable people who have crossed his path. I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with Tom, and I feel privileged to continue in my career at the American Gas Association with others who also crossed paths with this pioneering leader in the business industry. Tom will be missed, and our thoughts go out to his family at this difficult time."
