Santiago. Undersecretary Tripodi meets representatives of the Italian community

During her visit to Santiago, Chile, Italian Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs Maria Tripodi was keen to listen to representatives of the Italian community in the country.

The meetings coordinated by Ambassador Valeria Biagiotti were an opportunity for exchange and dialogue with representatives of the Italian community active not only in the business sector, but also in culture, communication and science - which makes the Italian community in Chile unique.

"These days have been an opportunity to celebrate Italy's achievements in all sectors of Chile's economic and social fabric. Italians who contribute every day with passion and professionalism to relations between Italy and Chile constitute a solid foundation to continue working on strengthening our bilateral relations," said Ambassador Valeria Biagiotti.

It was an opportunity to exchange views with major representatives of the business world and to explore new synergies and economic opportunities.

"It was a real pleasure to meet members of the Italian community who are committed to serving society, thus highlighting Italy's ingenuity in the fields of culture, economics, social affairs, and science with their daily success and dedication," said Undersecretary Tripodi, pointing out that the mission to Chile is under the banner of the diplomacy of growth promoted by Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani. "This growth is based not only on a healthy entrepreneurial fabric, but also on the strength and cohesion of the Italian community, which contributes to Chile's economic development and constitutes a solid bridge between our two countries."
