It would be appropriate for the second Peace Summit to take place in one of the Global South countries. This was stated by Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak during a panel discussion at the "Ukraine 2024. Independence" forum.

He emphasized that the core of the Peace Formula is the effort to compel Russia to adhere to international law.

According to Andriy Yermak, immediately after the conclusion of the first Peace Summit, preparations began for thematic conferences involving working groups and representatives from Global South countries.

"I believe that in a few months, we will complete this work, resulting in the development of a joint plan to implement President Zelenskyy's Peace Formula. We want - and it would be appropriate - for the second Summit to be held in one of the Global South countries," said the Head of the President's Office.

Andriy Yermak also reminded that Ukraine has already signed 25 bilateral security agreements, and the work continues.

"This is a new security ecosystem that will further evolve towards Ukraine's full membership in the EU and NATO," he added.

The Head of the President's Office stressed that Ukraine is making every possible effort to bring home the children abducted by Russia. Forty countries have already joined the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children.

Andriy Yermak also highlighted ongoing efforts regarding sanctions pressure: sanctions are in place, but they could be more effective. This includes targeting Russian propagandists, the oil sector, nuclear energy, and preventing the "gray" import of electronics to Russia, especially for missile production.
