SB I-81 (George N. Wade Memorial) Bridge Inspection to Begin Tomorrow

​Daily lane restrictions 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM through next Thursday

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the southbound Interstate 81 (George N. Wade Memorial) bridge spanning the Susquehanna River between Dauphin and Cumberland counties will be inspected beginning tomorrow, Friday, August 23. This work is expected to continue weekdays through Thursday next week.

Weather permitting, the inspection will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM tomorrow, Friday, August 23, through Thursday, August 29. A lane restriction will be in place during work hours.

Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
