Ribbon-Cutting & Rebranding for Water Pollution Control

Kansas City, Kansas is making a bold stride in environmental stewardship and public service with the ribbon-cutting of its state-of-the-art, 62,000-square-foot Environmental Services Campus.
The public is invited to join the celebration on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at 4851 Armstrong Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66102. This event also marks the official rebranding of the city's Water Pollution Control Division to "Environmental Services," showcasing a modernized commitment to addressing environmental challenges.
Local leaders, including Mayor/CEO Tyrone A. Garner, District 8 Commissioner Andrew Davis, and Environmental Services Director Jeff Miles, will share remarks highlighting the city's dedication to sustainability, improved public services, and innovative environmental solutions. This free event offers attendees the chance to tour the new facility, learn about its purpose, and enjoy refreshments following the ceremony.
