Kansas City, Kansas is making a bold stride in environmental stewardship and public service with the ribbon-cutting of its state-of-the-art, 62,000-square-foot Environmental Services Campus.

The public is invited to join the celebration on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at 4851 Armstrong Avenue, Kansas City, KS 66102. This event also marks the official rebranding of the city's Water Pollution Control Division to "Environmental Services," showcasing a modernized commitment to addressing environmental challenges.

Local leaders, including Mayor/CEO Tyrone A. Garner, District 8 Commissioner Andrew Davis, and Environmental Services Director Jeff Miles, will share remarks highlighting the city's dedication to sustainability, improved public services, and innovative environmental solutions.
