Bridge Fire Update

Claremont Police Department continues to monitor the Bridge Fire and coordinate with LACFD, Los Angeles National Forest, LACSD, SBCF, and Cal Fire.

Overnight, the Bridge Fire displayed moderate fire behavior with favorable conditions due to decreased winds and elevated humidity levels. The fire did not advance south overnight. Crews continue to work to establish secondary fire lines on the southern part of the fire and prioritize structure defense. There is no change in the evacuation warning for north Claremont, but LA County Fire reports there is currently no threat to Claremont.
