Park naming - Submit your suggestions in July!

The annual tradition of naming new parks is here! Every July, we have the opportunity to name newly approved parks, adding a personal touch to our community. This year, three new parks are ready for your input.

Parks to be Named:

  1. C-63 Neighborhood Park
    • Location:Creekview area
    • Size:2.5 acres
    • Surrounding Streets:Lemonade Lane, Treehouse Lane, Lower Bank Drive, Grass Creek Drive
    • Features:Half basketball court, children's play and swing area, picnic area, walkways, turf, landscaping
  2. KT-52 School/Park
    • Location:Sierra Vista plan area on Sierra Village Drive at Silver Spruce, west of Westbrook Boulevard
    • Size:7.6 acres
    • Adjacent to:Future elementary school
    • Features:Youth cricket/multi-use field, children's play area, picnic area, full-sized basketball court, off-street parking, looped pathway, nature play area, landscaping
  3. FD-51 Neighborhood Park
    • Location:Sierra Vista plan area, corner of Earl Rush Drive and Market Street
    • Size:1.1 acres
    • Features:Small turf area, picnic pavilion, trees, natural trails

How to Submit Your Name Suggestions:

  • Submission Period:July 1 - July 31, 2024
  • Deadline:July 31, 2024, at 3:00pm
  • Submission Method:Complete the name suggestion form and send it to the City Clerk's Office at [email protected]
