  • Joe Crowley
    Senior Policy Director and Former Chairman of the Democratic Caucus

    Congressman Crowley represented New York's 14th district for 20 years, serving in House Democratic leadership and on the Ways and Means Committee. He championed Social Security, Medicare, and the Affordable Care Act, and supported tax cuts for the middle class. He also co-founded multiple caucuses, including on India, Ireland, and rare diseases.
  • Jeff Denham
    Senior Policy Director and Former Member of the US House of Representatives

    Congressman Denham, a former US Representative (2010-2018) for California's 10th and 19th districts, served on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, chairing subcommittees on Railroads and Economic Development. He also served on the Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Veterans' Affairs Committees. Prior to Congress, he was a California State Senator (2001-2009).
  • Stephen S. Lawson
    Principal

    Stephen has extensive political experience, having advised a number of candidates and elected officials, such as Governors Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis in Florida, as well as U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler, Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones, Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper, Congressman Mike Collins, and most recently Speaker of the House Jon Burns in Georgia.

    Washington Correspondent for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

    Tia Mitchell is Washington correspondent for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, covering national politics for a Georgia audience. She also shares her political expertise on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, News Nation, NPR, and many other national and international news outlets. Tia is a co-host of the AJC's "Politically Georgia" radio show and podcast and is a fill-in host for "Washington Journal," C-SPAN's flagship morning show.
