Rain, Mosquitoes, and What You Can Do

️Heavy rain means more mosquitoes! Mosquitoes thrive in warm, wet environments, breeding in standing water. Help reduce mosquito populations by dumping standing water around your home and protect yourself using the 4Ds:

  1. Drain standing water.
  2. Dress in long sleeves/pants.
  3. Defend with EPA-approved repellent.
  4. Dusk & Dawn: Avoid outdoor activities during peak mosquito times.
