September 27, 2024 - The Midland City Clerk's Office began mailing absentee ballots this week to registered voters on the Permanent Absent Ballot Mailing list and to voters who had previously requested and returned an absentee ballot application for the November 5, 2024 General Election.
Absentee ballots will arrive by mail in a white envelope with a blue stripe on the left side labeled "Official Election Mail". The envelope will contain the ballot, a secrecy sleeve, an instruction sheet, and a postage-paid white envelope with a purple stripe on the left side. The envelope should be signed, sealed, and used to return the completed ballot back to the City Clerk's office.
