Asphalt work to close one lane of Route AA in Howard County next week

Five other routes to follow

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Asphalt work on Howard County Route AA is scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 28, 2024. The road will be closed in sections from Route E to Missouri Route 87.

After finishing Route AA, the crew plans to continue to the following routes:

  • Howard County Route A
    • From Route EE (Howard) to Missouri Route 124 (Boone)
    • Approximate start date: Oct. 29
  • Randolph County Route A
    • From Route B (Randolph) to Route 124 (Boone)
    • Approximate start date: Oct. 29
  • Route EE
    • From Route A (Howard) to Route J(Boone)
    • Approximate start date: Nov. 5
  • Route T
    • From Route B (Randolph) to Route F (Boone)
    • Approximate start date: Nov. 7
  • Route F
    • From U.S. Route 63 (Boone) to Route 124 (Boone)
    • Approximate start date: Nov. 14

MoDOT maintenance crews are planning work from dawn until dusk, Monday through Saturday, until all routes are completed.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
