European Union Ambassador begins mandate

The Delegation of the European Union to Canada has welcomed a new Ambassador. H.E. Geneviève Tuts presented her letters of credence to Governor General Mary Simon today during a ceremony at Rideau Hall.

Ambassador Tuts' posting comes at a time when Canada is gearing up for the G7 chairmanship in 2025 and when Canada and the EU are preparing for the 20th EU-Canada Summit, scheduled to take place in Brussels next year.
