Back to School, Your Way — Target’s Personalization Stations Let You Design Your Dream Gear

Picture this: your child, whether headed to kindergarten or college, shows up to their first day of school beaming with confidence, proudly showing off their unique backpack that reflects their creativity, personality and sense of style. With Target's all-new Personalization Stations, you can turn this vision into reality.

These stations allow you to customize your school gear - backpacks, lunchboxes, water bottles and more with a variety of options, including exclusive pins and patches. This is a great opportunity for students of all ages to unleash their imagination and make their back-to-school gear truly one-of-a-kind. Plus, our affordable prices and flexible customization options make it easy to create a unique look without breaking the bank.

"At Target, we're passionate about creating memorable experiences for students and their families as they celebrate big milestones and everyday moments," says Cara Sylvester, executive vice president and chief guest experience officer. "We know creativity and originality are important to our guests, especially when it comes to back-to-school shopping. That's why we're introducing Personalization Stations - to give students of all ages the freedom to showcase their personality and design unique items that reflect their style, all while delivering unbeatable value."

Imagination meets personalization

Starting July 28 through Sept. 8, visit our Personalization Stations in most Target stores and on Target.com to unlock a world of creative possibilities. Here's how it works:

  1. Select your canvas: Pick the items you want to personalize, such as backpacks, lunch boxes and more.
  2. Explore the options: Browse our extensive range of pins and patches and other customization options, priced from just $2 each.
  3. Create your design: Bring your vision to life by adding your pins, patches and more to your school items.

You can select your personalization items in-store at the Personalization Stations or on Target.com. And, on Aug. 3, join us for a special event in stores across the nation where we'll bring a "build your own" station to life - where students can personalize their items in-store with pins and patches and will receive free decals to add an extra fun touch. Whatever your style, we're here to empower you to express yourself and shop your way for back-to-school. It's one way we're providing a shopping experience that's easy, affordable and personalized - no matter how you choose to shop with us.

Heading to college? Get game-day ready

Don't miss our special gameday event for back-to-college on Sept. 6 (the Friday before many colleges' big games), where we'll host personalization events in some of the biggest college football towns, including Alabama, Michigan and Florida. At these events, you can design your game-day outfits, engage in interactive games, enjoy tailgate snacks and snag exclusive themed items from our up&up assortment. Plus, we're bringing the college theme to nearly 100 stores close to college campuses with university fight songs, photo booths and more.

But that's not all! We've teamed up with Pinterest on Target.com to bring you college-inspired content on Target Finds, featuring must-have dorm room essentials, trendy back-to-college fits and accessories.
