Lor began her career in local government in 2017 where she has overseen various operations including: city financials, municipal court, payroll, accounts payable, purchasing, budgeting, public works, planning and zoning in addition to working as a clerk. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with an Associate of Arts in Financial Services in 2009, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Public Administration in 2011 and completed her MBA in 2012.

"Through my work," said Maiyee Lor, "I have come to appreciate the responsibilities of the clerk's department in facilitating open and effective communication between the public, elected officials, and staff. The Clerk is not only a steward of history but also a key player in ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and regulations, enabling fair elections to support the decision-making process. I take pride in knowing that my efforts contribute to the continuous functioning of local government and directly impact the lives of residents and the difference in our community in a meaningful way."

Lor will support the Office of the Clerk in its day-to-day operations. Welcome to the Unified Government!
