Bank of Italy - Stringher, Mortara and Menichella scholarships a.y. 2025/2026

The Bank of Italy is offering 7 scholarships, named after Bonaldo Stringher, Giorgio Mortara and Donato Menichella, for the best recent graduates from Italian universities who intend to further their studies abroad, at universities of excellence on the international scene, in the field of political economy and economic policy; financial economics, econometrics or mathematical, statistical or IT methods (e.g. artificial intelligence, machine learning, FinTech, cyber security) applied to economics and finance; the interrelationships between economic growth and the legal system as well as the impacts of regulation on economic activities and the legal aspects related to digital security. artificial intelligence, machine learning, FinTech, cyber security) applied to economics and finance; on the interrelationships between economic growth and the legal system as well as on the impacts of regulation on economic activities and on the legal aspects related to digital assets and the application of artificial intelligence to the economy.

The winners are offered the opportunity to attend advanced training courses at prestigious foreign universities, as well as - together with the most deserving - to benefit from research start-up grants within the Institute. In addition, both the winners and the successful candidates of the Stringher, Mortara and Menichella selections are invited to take part in a selection for recruitment as Experts - Management and High Professionalism Area.
