Mayor Walsh Announces Road Reconstruction Project on Comstock Avenue

Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project on Comstock Avenue beginning August 1, 2024. Crews will mill and pave from Waverly Avenue to East Genesee Street. The road will be closed during construction from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. with traffic detours in place.
Drivers may experience delays and are advised to use alternate routes if possible. The project is expected to be completed in about two weeks; actual project timeframe is contingent on favorable weather.
