Center for Counseling and Psychological Health to Host Open House for Faculty, Staff on Oct. 1

Faculty and staff are invited to join the Center for Counseling and Psychological Health (CCPH) for an open house Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 4-6 p.m. in Middlesex House.<_o3a_p>

The mission of CCPH is to foster the psychological development, emotional wellbeing and personal success of the UMass student body. Confidential services provided by the center to students include crisis intervention, short-term psychotherapy for individuals, couples and families, support and therapy groups, psychological assessment, behavioral medicine, psychiatric services and eating disorders consultations.<_o3a_p>

Attendees of the open house will learn about the resources provided by CCPH and how to support students in connecting with the center's services. Staff clinicians will be on-site to answer questions.<_o3a_p>

The event will feature food and giveaways, as well as therapy dogs.<_o3a_p>
