Applications Sought for Airport Commission and Library Board

Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling is seeking applications to fill upcoming vacancies on the Airport Commission and Nampa Public Library Board within the City of Nampa. All positions below must be appointed by Mayor Kling and confirmed by the Nampa City Council before beginning their term of service. Unless otherwise noted, appointments would begin serving immediately following confirmation.

Airport Commission: There is one opening which would serve a five-year term beginning January 1, 2025. If the applicant does not reside within city limits, the applicant must be a member of an organization that operates on airport grounds or an employee of a business at the airport for the last two years. The Airport Commission is a volunteer commission comprised of five individuals who meet the second Monday of each month at Mission Aviation Fellowship at 5:30 p.m. The Commission recommends and makes suggestions to the council concerning the operation and maintenance of the municipal airport and its real and personal property belonging to the city.

Nampa Library Board: There is one new opening which would serve a five-year term beginning January 1, 2025. Applicants must reside within Nampa city limits. The Nampa Library Board of Trustees meets the second Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. at the Nampa Public Library and are integral to the operations of the library.

DEADLINE: All applications are currently being accepted through Sunday, November 24, 2024.
