NJIT Appoints William Brady as Vice President of Human Resources

New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) has named William Brady as the new vice president of human resources, effective Oct. 1, 2024. Brady brings more than two decades of extensive experience in HR leadership, strategic planning and workforce development to NJIT.

Brady has had a distinguished career in human resources, previously serving as the chief human resources officer at both Boise State University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In these roles, he has modernized the Human Resources offices to position them as strategic, data-informed partners to campus. He has experience making significant improvements in talent acquisition, employee engagement, training and development, compensation and data analytics.

Brady holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington College. His academic background, combined with his professional experience, positions him well to lead NJIT's Department of Human Resources into the future.

At NJIT, Brady will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits, implementing innovative HR strategies to enhance workforce engagement and performance.

Additionally, he will ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in HR service delivery. Brady will serve as a key advisor to the university's leadership on HR policies and initiatives.
