INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested Chevette S. Hill, 34, on multiple felony charges related to the sale and possession of narcotics.

Hill was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3^rd Degree, a Class B felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3^rd Degree (narcotic drug with the intent to sell), also a Class B felony.

The arrest stems from an indictment handed down by a Washington County Grand Jury. The charges are the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation during which crack cocaine was purchased from Hill on two separate occasions.

Hill is scheduled to appear in Washington County Court at a later date.
